Area rugs are important to put some good emphasis on to the important part of any room. They can certainly change the mood of the area and get everyone see how that particular spot is significant, depending on what you want to tell. Rugs though, may be sometimes a little bit underrated since they are just something that you put your feet on and some would not even put an effort to it that they would just choose whatever it is available and put it on their floors. Keep in mind that with a good looking rug, it can simply tell people that the room is a very imperative part of the house and you put great magnitude to it. Another problem that I see is the fact that rugs are simply expensive due to their sizes and designs. Most people would want to have contemporary rugs used in their houses to keep things looking modern, but because of the prices of all other commodities going up and economy getting stale, a lot of people end up just getting the plain rugs and carpets and never really think of the importance that a fine looking rug can give the room.
